Real-time rendering offers an unmatched level of reality. The details make it complete: the shadows at the back of the shelves, the randomness of the product’s position on the shelf; the way materials and prints are rendered. The animation offers freedom and life-like physics add even more realism.

Create your custom environment

With Studio Store Visualizer you can build your own store, pick floor and ceiling style, configuring aisle and shelf layouts.

Planograming is easy when you can do it virtually. You can also work with a spherical (360 degree) photograph of a real store and put virtual mock-ups on the empty spots – blending in almost perfectly.

Realistic refraction

Using VR, store walk throughs are as real as can be. Wander the store, pickup products to see the up close and even add them to your virtual shopping cart!

Stereoscopic rendering makes it possible to view your virtual store on a 3D screen – or use Oculus Rift or HTC Vive goggles.

Studio Store Visualizer Advanced

Studio Store Visualizer​ (not to be confused with Studio Visualizer) is a software application to visualize new packaging designs next to the competition in a store environment. With real-time visuals, all the stakeholders can assess the shelf appeal and make the right design decisions upfront on color, shape, materials, artwork, secondary packaging and other types of store branding. Studio Store Visualizer is developed by VTales Graphics, based in Lannion, France and available exclusively with Esko.

Spherical Environments:​ The software includes 5 retail scenes, captured on location with a 360-degree spherical camera. For more spherical scenes, Esko can offer a global capturing service at extra cost. Contact us for more information and pricing of this service.

Virtual Environments: Alternative to spherical environments, Studio Store Visualizer can also visualize environments that are entirely virtual. This allows for walkthroughs and a much higher level of scene customization. The software comes with an empty room and a shelving library to compose your own empty super market. With this approach you have to model all the products to fill the shelves, including competing products.

  • In these environments (either spherical or virtual), you can import virtual 3D objects and stack them on shelves, on the floor or on top of each other. The virtual packaging objects can be modelled with Esko Studio, ArtiosCAD (with 3D option) or other 3D modelling software. Studio Store Visualizer can import Collada (e.g. from Studio or ArtiosCAD), 3DS, OBJ, STL, VRML.
  • State of the art real-time rendering: Lighting from the environment, shadows.
  • Dynamic lighting: Place custom lights (eg. spots and in-shelf lighting) anywhere in the environment.
  • Physics simulation (gravity, rolling, sliding, bumping) to produce very live-like scenes.
  • Possibility to export high resolution images or show the software live to your client.
  • Movie timeline functionality that gives you the ability to create high quality store walk-throughs. Define the path, interact with packaging and export to high definition formats.
